96 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate -
Read
The 2017 Riesling Graacher Domprobst Auslese ** (White Capsule) is bright, pure and fresh on the delicately flinty-scented nose with its precise and elegant grapefruit aromas that intermingle with a hint of oak. This Domprobst is already filigreed and super precise on the nose. Lush, round and elegant on the palate, this is a concentrated and tightly woven yet finessed, fresh and salty-piquant Auslese with grip and crystalline structure. One can only vaguely imagine how bright this Domprobst will shine in ten years. Fascinating! Tasted several times in March and April 2019.

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
If you ever wondered what it is like to get struck by lightning while drinking nectar from a flower and kissing your dream partner at the same time, then you should buy as much of this as you can. This is simply an other-worldly experience and one you can't understand until your lips hit the glass. 96 point and worth every penny of $40 per bottle. As Wine Advocate puts it, "bright, pure and fresh on the delicately flinty-scented nose with its precise and elegant grapefruit aromas that intermingle with a hint of oak."
About the Producer
In 1984, at the tender age of 20, Markus Molitor took over his father's winery with a clear aim: to produce Mosel Rieslings under the name "Molitor" in the tradition of eight generations and in the same quality that made the region world-famous 100 years ago. The wines are terroir-specific, unmistakable and extremely ageable. One of our favorite Mosel producers here at First Bottle!
