Turley Zinfandel Steacy Ranch 2017 - First Bottle

Reviews

93 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate -
The 2017 Zinfandel Steacy Ranch comes from a vineyard planted in 1907 to Zinfandel as well as Grenache and Carignane. It has a medium to deep ruby-purple color and very spicy, singular nose of black licorice, dried black cherries and dried blackcurrants with notes of stone and blue fruits at the core plus cedar and soil touches. Medium to full-bodied, it offers lots of spices in the mouth with wonderfully ripe, lush black fruits accented by peachy notes, framed by mouthwatering acidity and soft, grainy tannins, finishing long. 1,000 cases produced.

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!

Planted in 1907! Are Turley’s Zins the best in CA at this moment? We think so (Ridge is right up there, though)! We just scored a beautiful (but small!) parcel. Just go get it! Only 120 bottles!

If it’s been a while since you drank, loved and ooh-ahhhed about a bottle of Zin, grab this one. Wow. At this superb price, we frankly think it’s a complete no-brainer. And we only have a handful of cases!

$40 elsewhere --- $31.95 today. $191.70 a 6-pack!

We have a LOT of cool Zins at the moment...think about mixing it up with some of the excellent new releases from Bedrock, Once and Future (new label by Joel Peterson of Ravenswood) --- check out the Zins we have HERE. Turley, though? Man, it’s nearly impossible to go wrong with this venerable, much-loved producer. There you have it!

First come, first served…!

About the Producer

Larry Turley started Turley Wine Cellars in 1993. Because Larry has never met an old vine vineyard he didn't like, Turley now makes 47 separate wines from over 50 different vineyards, some with vines that date back to the late 1800s. By focusing on old vine vineyards in particular, Turley aims to both create and preserve California's unique winemaking culture.
