Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
We normally only hand-sell a few bottles of the rare Wolf wines to our very best customers. 2012 vintage, direct from the winery cellars -- $49.95! WOLF FAMILY is a tiny family-owned property I’ve been a champion of for a decade or more, and we’re honored they gave us enough to send out an email! A MUST for big, concentrated red lovers with an intellectual sensibility and an eye on value, too. Amazing deal!

In St. Helena, up on the benchland back behind what was the old Dean+Deluca on Hwy. 29, is a gorgeous, pristine, old-vine vineyard and stone winery where Wolf Family was made (it is now the $225+ SINEGAL winery). This is VERY special, virtually unknown, masterful stuff I’ve been selling for years, and it was always made in very small quantities by the talented Karen Culler (this vintage, for example, was only 4 BARRELS!). If you love Cabernet Franc at its finest, TODAY is a GREAT day. We’ll never see this again!

2012, of course, was a lush, generous, round, stellar vintage, and this wine could easily sell for twice the price. Violets, blueberry, sweet tobacco leaf, licorice, smoked meat, and a plush, succulent, warm, mouthcoating texture. The finish is spicy and layered, and goes and goes. Absolutely stunning to drink now, or hold for another 5+ years.

I’m speechless to be able to offer it at $49.95 on 3+ bottles, plus free shipping. CRAZY! Don’t wait an extra minute…while it lasts…!

About the Producer

Jane and Doug Wolf didn't come to Napa Valley to start a business. They came, like so many others, to enjoy good wine and good company in one of the most beautiful places on earth. That simple joy is what led them to buy their first property here in 1997; it's what lead them to plant the vines and harvest their first crop, to make a small vintage for sharing only among friends and family. One thing lead to another, and for the following 19 years, winemaking evolved from a small hobby into a true labor of love. Wolf Family Vineyards has remained small and family-owned throughout, never making more than 1000 cases per year, yet still earning high praise for the integrity of its wine.
