Cru. Bright and focused throughout, the Premier Cru impresses for its nuance, polish and crystalline personality. This is all subtlety and grace. The current release is based on the 2007 vintage, with reserve wines from 2006 (18%) and 2005 (14%). Disgorged February 7, 2014. Dosage is 7 grams per liter.

About the Producer
Pascal established his own domaine in 2004 after taking over his family's estate, Doquet-Jeanmaire. Pascal farms some of the most prestigious vineyards in Vertus, Le Mont Aime, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and his old vine parcel, Champ d'Aoulettes. His driving passion is in the vineyards and its health. The estate was certified organic in 2010. The wines of Pascal Doquet are lively and burst with energy while delivering the many layers and complexities of the terroir.
