93 Wine Spectator -
Read
This has a nice sanguine note up front that melds into the core of crushed plum, blackberry and macerated black currant fruit. The very sleek, iron-framed finish has excellent purity and drive. Best from 2013 through 2021. 325 cases made, 70 cases imported.

About the Producer
Nothing predestined Michel Tardieu to be part of the greatest names from Rhone Valley. Passion pushed him to decide in 1996 to create Tardieu Laurent in Lourmarin, in the heart of his native Provence. Since, Michel dedicates his time to select the greatest parcels, and the best grapes and master them through rigorous but respectful ageing methods, with sharpness and delicacy, to please all wine drinkers, regardless of their experience.
