The 2019 Zinfandel Pesenti Vineyard opens slowly to tar, red cherries, dried flowers and earth on the nose. Medium-bodied, the palate offers loads of fresh berry character with a soft, approachable, fresh structure and uplifted, perfumed finish. This has more to show with another year or two in bottle.

Turley strikes again, this time in the form of a brilliant Paso Zin! 94 points from Wine Advocate recently and I'm sure there are more scores on the way. We love the intensity and overall balance and freshness despite the ripe cherry and raspberry flavors. You just can't go wrong with any Turley wine in my mind!

Larry Turley started Turley Wine Cellars in 1993. Because Larry has never met an old vine vineyard he didn't like, Turley now makes 47 separate wines from over 50 different vineyards, some with vines that date back to the late 1800s. By focusing on old vine vineyards in particular, Turley aims to both create and preserve California's unique winemaking culture. Turley Wine Cellars was founded in 1993 by Larry Turley and makes forty-seven wines, the vast majority of which are single vineyard designate Zinfandels and Petite Syrahs. Turley aims to be stewards of some of California's most distinctive vineyards, producing authentic wines that reflect their heritage.
