Francoise Chidaine is located in the picturesque town of Montlouis located directly across the river from Vouvray and just up-river from Tours. The estate is run by Francois Chiadian a second-generation vigneron with the help of his wife Manuela. Francois is very passionate about Chenin Blanc for its diversity and potential to create ageworthy wines. He is known to make some of the most terroir transparent, complex and ageworthy Chenin Blanc. He is also extremely devoted to natural farming, especially the practice of regenerative agriculture. This practice involves the implementation of practices known to remove CO2 from the atmosphere and convert it into plant material and organic matter. His vision isn't only about growing the best grapes or making the best wine but rather a vision for a better future.
