The Debate Cabernet Sauvignon Three Pack Three Vineyard Collection Napa Valley 2018 - First Bottle

97 Wine Enthusiast -
The Debate Artalade Montagna Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2018: "Refined tannin and integrated fruit mark this lovely, full-bodied wine, which is 100% varietal and made in tiny amounts. Leather, tobacco and cedar highlight a lengthy and elegant core seething in cassis and currant, with a touch of oak and dark chocolate on the finish."
97 Wine Enthusiast -
The Debate Sacrashe Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2018: "Thick and concentrated in red berry and cassis, this wine features oak that is moderate yet present, with a mineral-like underbelly of stone and earth. Granular, muscular and lasting in baking spice, tea and clove, it showcases the great site, the vintage and the winemaking all in one with ease and elegance."
96 Wine Enthusiast -
The Debate Denali Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2018: "Hugely concentrated and woody, with impressive hints of cedar, clove, pencil and dried herb, this wine is lengthy and thick in dark brooding fruit. The power is wrapped in structure and freshness, allowing room for the wine to breathe and find balance. This is a good candidate for cellaring; enjoy best from 2028–2038."

We just got a few more 3-packs of Jean Hoefliger’s astounding The Debate 2018s, and once again, we’ve been blown away! Spanning 97 and 96-point reviews across the board, these wines hail from three separate vineyard plots, harvested in the highest-rated Napa vintage in Wine Spectator history! Seriously...ever! Collectors, roll up your sleeves and get your clicking fingers ready because sadly, there aren’t nearly enough of these to go around! Priced soooo low for 24 HOURS ONLY, we can’t even show it here – but, trust us, it’s a steal!

The concept is, of course, to make 3 wines exactly the same way, from 3 unique vineyards across Napa Valley. You’ll unbox one from Artalade Montagna Vineyards on Pritchard Hill (owned by Bob Long), Sacrashe Vineyard at the top of the hill in Rutherford looking down on Auberge du Soleil (next to Sloan), and Denali Vineyard above the Joseph Phelps winery on the eastern side of St. Helena, respectively scoring 97, 97, and 98 points from Wine Enthusiast.

These bottles are extremely rare, extremely collectible, and extremely cool...but what else would you expect from Jean Hoefliger, a tenured wine consultant and winemaker for numerous top brands spanning the Valley for more than 20 years? For a brief overview, the Artalade Montagna has fine tannins, refined fruit, an elegant core, and a lengthy finish; the Sacrashe features moderate oak, mineral undertones, thick red berries, and a muscular body; and the Denali maintains a massively concentrated, earthy body, deep brooding fruits, and a powerful yet fresh structure. All in all, it is a wildly diverse representation of what the Napa Valley has to offer in cabernet sauvignon, from a wickedly revered vintage that has critics still spinning!

We’ve got less than 30 packs to make their way ‘ if it were us, we’d put in our order imminently and get a few nearest, dearest together for a tasting party of this knockout horizontal for the grandest of tours of the region. Pick a favorite – if you can – and fiercely defend its merits against your guest’s chosen simply can’t go wrong! This is some of Napa’s finest fruit from a prominent and pedigreed producer with tons of praise and passion to boot! Serious Napa cabernet enthusiasts are about to have their heyday, and we’re here to support every moment of your joyous occasion! Did you see that price yet? Make one (or three) of these epic 3-packs yours today!

About the Producer

Wines, like people, are a reflection of their origin and evolution. By selecting three different vineyards with three different expressions of Napa Valley Cabernet Franc, and making them in the same way, the Debate seeks to point out the diversity of terroir as well as the diversity of people. We live in an age where less and less time is spent at the dinner table discussing these different points of view. The Debate's mission is to bring people together to share a glass of wine to discuss and debate just as our team does. Proprietor Rob McKay partnered with the venerable Jean Hoefliger to craft his vision. Quickly these wines have garnered tremendous critical success and a cult following. Let the Debate begin!
