Martini Voerzio Barolo La Serra 2013
Nebbiolo | Italy
JS95
$89.95 - 750mL
This is really shining right now having spent a handful of years in the bottle. We love this relatively unknown producer, the "other Voerzio" is absolutely crushing right now and Martini is getting access to the same great vineyards as Roberto, like this terrific version of La Serra cru. 95 points from James Suckling and just now gaining a bit of traction in the USA. "Exotic and beautiful with ripe berries, burnt oranges and hints of coffee and Chinese tea." Full review below. If you're a Barolo fan you should be taking note and loading up your cart with this one.

Exotic and beautiful with ripe berries, burnt oranges and hints of coffee and Chinese tea. Full body, soft and silky tannins and a flavorful finish. Drinkable but wait three or four years to see the magic.
