We were blown away when this beauty showed up in our tasting lab. This tiny grower producer in Avize is making some remarkably fine bubbles. This offers a luxury experience (Krug-like in profile) for a very reasonable price! Clearly there is great attention to detail in the vineyard and the cellar as it delivers the kind of complexity and polish we expect to find in the upper echelon of Champagne producers. BRAVO!
About the Producer
This under the radar grower producer owns and just under 15 acres in Avize which has been in the family for four generations. It wasn't until 1971 that they decided to produce their own wines.
