Domaine Drouhin Roserock Chardonnay Eola-Amity Hills 2015 - First Bottle

Reviews

94 Vinous -
Pale yellow-gold. Intense, mineral-inflected orchard and pit fruit, lavender and buttered toast aromas are complicated by oyster shell, fennel and vanilla nuances. Concentrated yet nervy and light on its feet, offering palate-staining, oak-kissed pear nectar, Meyer lemon and candied ginger flavors underscored by a vein of smoky minerality. Shows superb energy and power on the floral-tinged finish, which hangs on with serious, mineral-driven tenacity.
94 James Suckling -
Apple pie, pears, lemons and white chocolate to this elegant chardonnay. Medium to full body, a dense texture and a deep and mineral finish. I love the elegance and style. Fresh acidity. Drink or hold.

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!

Mind-blowing price today: $27.95!! Drouhin’s Roserock is on FIRE. With slews of huge press for the pinots and chards, is there anyone else who comes close at these prices?? MAJOR sellout alert! Just astounding at this price. We’d LOVE to put this up in a blind tasting of $50-$200 domestic chardonnay and white Burg. It drinks WAY over its station -- deeply satisfying and packed with complex fruit and flavors like candied lemon peel, roasted hazelnuts and quince paste, it beautifully walks the line between hedonistic and racy/mineral/citrus. LOVE the minerally, spicy, piquant acidity on the finish.

We’ll not see a price like this again. Total no-brainer @ $167.70 a 6-PACK DELIVERED --- $335.40 a CASE! Read the reviews below and grab it before we sell out…

About the Producer

The Drouhin Family's winemaking roots run deep, having taken hold in Burgundy's best vineyards more than a century ago. Through the years, there has been a very clear link, a continuum, that inhabits Maison Joseph Drouhin, and now Domaine Drouhin Oregon.

The Drouhin family started an estate winery in the Dundee Hills 30 years ago seeing great potential because of the striking correlation between the Willamette Valley and their home turf. They have now firmly established a lasting presence in the region where they craft elegant pinot noir and chardonnay, forged from their family's tradition of fine winemaking. Now celebrating 30 years in the Willamette Valley, the Drouhin Family has brought a wealth of hard-earned experience to their vineyards and have become a stalwart of the region.
