Carte Blanche Pinot Noir Sun Chase Vineyard 2016

Pinot Noir  |  US
JD95+, VN95, JS94

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!

Suggestion from your trusted Napa Valley wine merchant: DROP what you are doing and get a few bottles (free shipping on any 6 of course) NOW. Then prepare yourself to be knocked out by what Helen Keplinger has made, from the spectacular 2016 vintage. These are screaming great buys at $64.95 each!!

Carte Blanche is Nicholas Allen’s (owner of Haut-Brion and La Mission Haut Brion!) Napa project, utilizing the very best vineyard sites and an elite winemaker, (and one of our all-time favorite people) Helen Keplinger. The wines in the last few years have been off the charts, and many of you bought and loved the incredible 100-point ‘15 Cabernet. These new releases are drop dead killer. This is a star on the rise to be sure!

The pinot from Sun Chase (one of the most sought-after vineyards in the Petaluma Gap, heavily influenced by cool ocean breezes and sits above the fog line) is simply a deer-in-the-headlights, WOW wine. Rich and silky, polished, feminine and concentrated, it’s just a joy to drink. At $64.95, even more so.

We could go on and on, but just GET some! While they last!

About the Producer

Carte Blanche is Nicholas Allen’s (owner of Haut-Brion and La Mission Haut Brion!) Napa project, utilizing the very best vineyard sites and an elite winemaker, (and one of our all-time favorite people) Helen Keplinger. Nicholas’ family has been in the wine business for nearly a century, since his great grandfather, Clarence Dillon, acquired Chateau Haut-Brion in 1935, and from an early age he gained an exposure and appreciation in wine. Eventually, he was inspired to produce his own boutique label in Napa Valley and he sought out the very best terroir and locked in long-term contracts where he could control the farming.
