We went back to Tor after we blew through the 2012 Cimarossa and asked for more. While there were no more 2012s to be had, he did ask if we’d be interested in these gems...direct from Tor’s cellar! Just a handful of cases each!

Seriously, offers like this just don’t come around often, to say the least. We go back a fair bit with Tor Kenward, and we convinced him to give us a few cases of the astoundingly good 97-point 2009 Cimarossa...Howell Mountain greatness! And 24 bottles of the uber-rare “Cuvee Susan”! Winemaker Jeff Ames knocks it out of the park!

At 10 years of age, the ‘09 is simply SUBLIME. Taking on the tertiary notes of bottle age now, it is elevated to new heights. The Howell Mountain tannins have softened, the wood has integrated beautifully, and it is long and complex. SO amazing to have a few cases to sell!
