Petit-Figeac Saint Emilion Grand Cru 2014 - First Bottle

Reviews

92 Vinous -
The 2014 Petit-Figeac is laced with the essence of sweet dark cherry, plum, tobacco, mint, licorice and leather. Pliant, supple and expressive, it is a highly appealing second wine. This is just as impressive in bottle as it was from barrel.
90-92 Wine Enthusiast -
Barrel Sample. The third vintage of this second wine from Château Figeac is gently integrated with fresh fruit and acidity. Dusty tannins give mild structure to the wine.
90-91 James Suckling -
A juicy and fresh wine with blackberry and mineral character. Full and silky with delicious fruit, wet earth and stone character. Excellent second wine. This is really interesting because there is 44% cabernet sauvignon with the rest being cabernet franc and a little merlot.
