AR Lenoble Brut Intense Mag 14 NV - First Bottle

Reviews

93 Wine Enthusiast -
This intense wine is also rich, with a good layer of spice and a mature character. It includes 40% reserve wine aged in bottle before blending, giving richness and wonderful ripeness. Drink now.
17/20 Jancis Robinson -
They are including more reserve wines to add freshness, they say. Quite open and lacy in texture but with great depth. Very satisfying and unignorable. Powerful.

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!

Every wine lover needs some of these bubbles handy. This is a no-brainer price for such good Champagne! HURRY!!

This is the very first release of Lenoble's "Mag 14" wines, containing 40% perpetual reserve wine, aged in magnums under natural cork. This unique and laborious method helps to preserve freshness while adding incredible complexity and richness. The wine is removed from magnum and combined with the base vintage, of which 60% is from the 2014 vintage (hence “mag 14”).

There is no other house that puts so much thought and dedication into their "entry level" offering. Frankly, most houses' top-bottlings don't receive this kind of love! You have to try this to understand...incredible complexity and richness with surprising freshness, in a ripe, creamy, lychee and puff pastry laced, body-tingling glass of Champagne. The blend is made up of 45% pinot meunier from Damery, 30% 1er Cru pinot noir from Bisseuil and 25% Grand Cru chardonnay from Chouilly. 5 gram dosage. So much wine for WELL UNDER $40!! Wow! Free shipping on 6 as always!

About the Producer

AR Lenoble is one of the rare producers in Champagne that has been consistently family-owned and entirely independent since the very beginning. Sister-and-brother owners Anne and Antoine Malassagne are the great-grandchildren of Armand-Raphaël Graser. They took over in 1993 from their father and in just over twenty years, and they have quietly yet confidently transformed AR Lenoble into one of the jewels of the Champagne region.
