Lerner Project Cabernet Sauvignon RMS Napa Valley 2016 - First Bottle

Reviews

96 Jeb Dunnuck -
A broader, more expansive wine, the 2016 RMS Red Wine is equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc brought up in new oak. It offers a full-bodied, powerful yet surprisingly elegant style to go with sumptuous notes of blackcurrants, blueberries, chocolate, graphite, and earthy minerality. With a great mid-palate, sweet tannins, and terrific concentration, it’s another gem from this lineup.

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
This wine perfectly tows the line between a full-bodied bruiser (which is what we've come to expect from Russel Bevan) and a more feminine, earth-tinged style...and we love it! Don't get us wrong this is a BIG wine, but it carries its weight well. "Elegant, rich and finley structured. Cocoa, hazelnuts and coriander integrate with raspberry, pomegranate and plum to give a long satisfying experience on the palate." - Russell Bevan

About the Producer

At Lerner project the team is small but they all share the same passion and work ethic for producing wine that demonstrates the characteristics of the vine, soil and climate of Napa Valley. Proprietor Stu Lerner and his wife Karen have a deep appreciation for Napa Valley and the wines that are produced. They turned their dreams into reality when they created the Lerner Project. Their goals are to showcase the individuality of each vineyard and the unique characteristics inherent to each plot.
