With a blend of 62% greco, and 38% falanghina these are grapes few outside of Italy (and perhaps even few within the motherland) could claim expertise in. The wine is textured and waxy, with a salty acidity reminiscent of fresh ocean spray, and a weighty, spicy mouth that showcases lemon, green figs, and ginger notes.
About the Producer
Massican is named after the coastal mountain range in Campania. Dan Petrowski's Massican honors his Italian roots and creates Fruili inspired white wines from Napa fruit. The wines have laser-like precision and are utterly unique in Cab country. Massican has been creating exciting, iconclastic white wines in Napa since 2009.
