Located on the limestone foothills of the Maures massif in the southern Var, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Alps, La Vidaubanaise has been making wines here for over a century. The Mediterranean climate allows grenache, syrah, cinsault, carignan, and mourvedre to thrive here – and this delicate rosé perfectly expresses that here. Strawberries and melons, plus tart red cherries...this is a classic provencal rosé at an amazing price!

About the Producer

Founded in 1922 in Vidauban, the Maîtres Vignerons de la Vidaubanaise now oversees 600 hectares of vineyards in the Côtes de Provence Appellation. Situated on the limestone hills of the Maures massif in southern Var, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and the Alps, the area's climate is ideal for growing southern grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, Cinsault, Carignan, and Rolle. By fermenting each vineyard parcel separately, the winery is able to bring out more character and depth in the wine. Their wines are highly regarded, receiving numerous awards at events such as the Mondial du Rosé and the Concours General Agricole, and receiving regular recognition from the French wine press, including the Guide Hachette.
