This is often what people think of when they think Meursault. This is a site on the upper slopes above Genevrieres and it displays VERY nutty, mouth enveloping, creamy texture. It has just enough mineral tension to balance it all out. A slightly more oaky style than the rest and one to drink in the near-term that can please a Chard drinker who likes a bit more weight and texture.
About the Producer
Domaine Boyer-Martenot is a family winery where the wine in the bottle unquestionably lives up to its noble appellation. Through the efforts of this estate, these single-vineyard Meursault wines have found their voice, showing just how varied and captivating great Meursault can be. Vincent is a super cool dude who came out and worked in Napa some years ago. Keep up the good work, my friend!
