Lewis Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2016 - First Bottle

Reviews

93 Wine Spectator -
Solidly built, with loam and warm licorice notes melding into dark currant and blackberry compote flavors. Broad and fleshy through the finish. A bit stolid in personality, but the depth and definition is there. Best from 2020 through 2030. 1,800 cases made.

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
Is there a more consistent producer in the Napa Valley? We would be hard pressed to find one. Lewis delivers the goods year after year without fail. Recognized as the #1 in the World on the 2016 Wine Spectator Top 100 List for their 2013 Napa Valley Cabernet (NOW SELLING AT $400-$500!), Lewis Cellars can do no wrong. They do it year after year at what I think are REMARKABLY GREAT PRICES, relatively. In the SUPERB 2016 vintage, I think that you are CRAZY not to load up on this Cab if you love the style (pedal to the metal, lush, sexy).

About the Producer

In 1992 Randy and Debbie Lewis established a small family winery in Napa Valley and were later joined by their son Dennis in 1999. Former Indy car super-star, Randy Lewis has built one of the most respected Napa Valley brands. The wines just keep on getting better with each passing vintage.
