Et Fille Pinot Noir Palmer Creek Vineyard Willamette Valley 2017 - First Bottle

Reviews

93 Vinous -
Limpid ruby-red. Fragrant red and blue fruit and floral aromas are complemented by suggestions of cola and baking spices. Sappy and penetrating on the palate, offering juicy boysenberry and cherry-vanilla flavors that expand through the midpalate. Fine-grained tannins build slowly, adding shape to a very long, floral- and spice-driven finish. 33% new oak.

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!

We’ve been buying assorted bottlings from Et Fille for a few years now, and MAN do they just keep getting better and better! The mainstream wine press has definitely caught on, too, but we snagged 22 cases before the score came out for you at a must-have price.

We can’t disagree with a word here. The wine is lovely, really, no other words, intense and floral, with excellent structure and rich midpalate… We love it. At $26, it’s WOW territory!

PAIRING IDEAS: We love this recipe for shrimp pasta! The only thing we do differently is oil and grill the shrimp to give a smokiness and another level of flavor. Be generous with the cheese, too, of course, the pinot noir will LOVE it!

MUSIC SUGGESTIONS: New Kurt Vile is out - “Sirens of Titan.”

About the Producer

Et Fille is a project founded by father and daughter team Howard Mozeico and Jessica Mozeico. The brand was inspired by family and the idea of enjoying one of their wines around family. Howard first worked in software at multiple startup companies but was most passionate about wine. He took some enology classes, won amateur winemaking competitions, and consulted with local winemakers. Jessica worked in biotechnology marketing but learned all her wine knowledge from her father. A family-inspired project which Jessica hopes to carry on for her daughter.
