Amici Chardonnay Charles Heintz Vineyard 2016
Biagi is also an awesome dude to hang out with --- we have consumed dozens and dozens of really old wines together, and we’re stoked to have this to offer you. Charles Heintz Vineyard is one of Sonoma Coast's most coveted sites, dubbed “one of the great Grand Cru Chardonnay sites in California” by Robert Parker. Add that to Tony’s illustrious winemaking, in a great vintage like 2016, and we’re thinking this EASILY deserves its nice Jeb score of 96, oh yes! You can’t even FIND this wine anywhere except right here and at the winery itself!
“Straight-up rocking notes of white flowers, candied ginger, lemon, and citrus all flow to a racy, pure, elegant Chardonnay that does everything right.” --- Jeb
Hard to argue with that! This Chard really does nail the fine line of power and freshness, with baskets of complex fruits and spices and a killer long finish. WHAT A PRICE, TOO!
