William Fevre Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru 2010 - First Bottle

Reviews

95+ Robert Parker's Wine Advocate -
The 2010 Chablis Les Clos is all about understatement and balance. White floral notes meld into white stone fruit in this utterly gracious Chablis. Clos can at times be fleeting and elusive, and there is certainly some of that in the 2010. Still, it is impossible to miss the wine?s textural finesse and sheer overall balance. I will not be surprised if the 2010 continues to get better in bottle.

About the Producer

1959, the year in which William Fevre declared his first crop, marked the birth of the domain. Descended from a family which had lived in the Chablis region for over 250 years, it was only natural that he set up as a winemaker with 17 acres of vineyards. Over the years the domain has acquired new vineyards in Chablis, all located in the historic terroirs. William F?vre has become one of the biggest land owners in Chablis with 192 acres of prestigious vineyards, of which 39 are classified as Premiers Crus and 37 as Grand Crus.
