"I was again very impressed with the quality I found and the domaine just seems to continue to go from strength to strength." Allen Meadows, Burghound
We couldn't agree more! These wines are simply stunning and bursting at the seams with mineral goodness and charm, especially in a warm vintage like 2018. The whites are perfectly judged, never getting overripe or flabby, with wonderful natural tension and nervousness. As Neal Martin of Vinous Media said, "This is a stunning Chassagne-Montrachet from Damien Colin. Highly recommended."

Vinous
The 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Champs Gain 1er Cru, which comes from vines located toward the bottom of the slope and high in calcaire, has an intense bouquet with scents of citrus lemon, crushed pebbles and suggestions of marmalade and wax resin, all very focused. The well-balanced palate delivers a gorgeous opening of blood orange and quince. Very complex, with outstanding mineralité toward the compelling finish. This is a stunning Chassagne-Montrachet from Damien Colin. Highly recommended.

Fine attractive pale lemon and lime. There is some delicacy along with the muscle, a reductive note on the palate, a little extra flesh at the back before being brought back to a controlled lime-infused finish.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Champs Gain is showing nicely, exhibiting notions of white currant, fresh peach, almond paste and ripe citrus. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, open-knit but incisive, with good underlying tension and a mouthwatering finish. I suspect it will come together further with additional élevage.
