92 Tastings.com -
Light gold color. Leesy, fruity aromas and flavors of white peach, honeycomb, key lime, allspice, and lemon curd on croissant with a round, vibrant, finely carbonated, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a smooth, intricate, medium-length raw almonds, buttercream with nutmeg, caramelized root vegetables, and celery leaves finish with fine tannins and light oak. A flavor packed, must-try, NV Champagne.

PAIRING IDEAS: Lobster mac and cheese. Order it online somewhere, or make it yourself! It’s pretty easy, really. Here’s a good recipe to get the idea...and don’t skip the nutmeg! It’s key!

MUSIC SUGGESTIONS: “Sad To Know That You’re Leaving” by Gregory Isaacs will put you in the mood for this decadent bottle and meal!

About the Producer

After working for 12 years under the guidance of his father, Rudy took over in 2008 and has since expanded the business. Initially very small, with just a few vines of his own, the family business expanded at a steady clip. It now comprises 11 hectares in various locations which include some highly reputed vineyards in the Grands Crus area of Mesnil-sur-Oger and in the Montagne de Reims area. At first, concentrating on the market in France the estate has now expanded its business to serve customers in Europe and Asia.
