“Paradis” is from 50+ year-old vines, is medium-sweet (probably best as a dessert wine) and is ASTOUNDINGLY complex. There is too much to say about the winery itself (take a look at their website for more info), but over the last nine generations, they are masters of the Chenin Blanc grape.

Beautiful golden color, with layers of toast, honey, carmalized apples and apricots. Very long with enough bright acidity to carry the sugar, this is beautifully balanced and still fresh and clean, with a long, complex lingering finish. A JAW-DROPPER for under $34!! Crazy! We still don't really know how this happened!

From a family of eight generations of wines growers, Georges Brunet cultivate 34 acres of vines using sustainable farming methods and harvest the grapes by hand. The domaine makes a variety of offering from sparkling and méthode traditionnelle wines to a complete range of dry, medium dry, and sweet moelleux and liquoreux Vouvray wines from select vintages like 1989 to 2003.
