Revana Cabernet Sauvignon St Helena 2007 - First Bottle

Reviews

97 Wine Spectator -
#4 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2010 - Aromas of roasted herb, red pepper and sage are complex, elegant and spicy, joined by ripe currant, plum and black cherry fruit, but this is at its best on the full-bodied palate, where the texture is supple, graceful and polished. Drink now through 2020.

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
A St. Helena classic, perfectly cellared, drinking perfectly from back in the Melka consulting days (today, Thomas Rivers Brown consults). We love the opulence and overall balance here. Wonderful stuff!

About the Producer

Located in the heart of Napa Valley, Revana Family Vineyard is a vineyard and winery estate focused on producing world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. For Dr. Madaiah Revana, it is the culmination of his dream to grow and craft wines of exceptional quality. In 1997, while visiting the Napa Valley, Dr. Revana discovered a small parcel of prime vineyard land just north of the town of St. Helena. He immediately sensed the property’s potential. The area was already known for producing some of the world’s most sought after Cabernet Sauvignon, and the property’s gravelly soils, sloped pitch, and excellent exposures seemed perfect for growing grapes. Studies of the soil composition confirmed that it was an ideal location for premium Bordeaux varieties. His next step was to build a team that could implement his vision. 2001 was the first vintage crafted byy consulting winemaker Heidi Peterson Barrett. Dr. Revana also purchased property in Uco Valley Mendoza and Willamette Valley, Oregon and is making spectaculr wines in these regions! Thomas Rivers Brown joined the consultin team in 2011 and in 2019 Geoff Davies is hired as Winemaker.
