Comte Armand Pommard Clos des Epeneaux 2001 - First Bottle

Reviews

95 Decanter -
This was an unfeasibly young Ben Leroux’s third vintage as régisseur at Comte Armand, although he had already worked there as an apprentice. There’s a hint of the farmyard about this wine, but it also has finesse and fragrance with some ferrous, dried blood notes of a classic Pommard and leafy, tertiary forest floor flavours.
