Argiano Brunello di Montalcino 2008 - First Bottle

Reviews

93 James Suckling -
This is a pretty wine with roses, berries and raspberries on the nose and palate. What I like is its medium to full body with very well-integrated tannins and a pretty, clean finish. Such harmony and balance here.

About the Producer

Argiano's history dates back to the construction of the villa in 1581. The land and villa changed ownership between various aristocratic families but flourished as a winery in the 19th century under the ownership of Lady Ersilia Caetani Lovatelli. After this estate was acquired by Countess Noemi Marone Cinzano, the philosophy changed whereby quality and personality became the dominant priorities. Argiano makes five wines: a Brunello di Montalcino, a Rosso di Montalcino, and three IGT wines called Suolo, Solengo, and Non Confunditur.
