The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Panek Vineyard will certainly be a match for the 2014 and 2015. Cassis, tobacco leaf, spring flowers, and graphite notes all give way to a ripe, layered 2016 that has a wonderful sweetness to its fruit as well as sensational purity. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 80% new French oak, it should drink nicely in its youth yet cruise in the cellar.
