Disgorged with nine grams per liter dosage after three years sur lattes, Orban's NV Brut Rosé is produced entirely from Pinot Meunier; based on the 2014 vintage, it also incorporates 50% reserve wines from vintages 2011 to 2013, as well as still red wine for color. It's a lovely wine, offering up aromas of redcurrant, citrus, wheat toast and hints of licorice, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy palate with pinpoint bubbles, mouthwatering acids and a pure, flavorful finish. This is a charming and distinctive rosé that is well worth seeking out.

An awesome new grower Champagne discovery for us from the Marne Valley that seriously crushed some other not-to-be-named producers in a blind lineup. Wine Advocate raved about this in their 92 point review and nailed the tasting notes, although we also pick up some white cherry and red rose notes. What a beauty to enjoy all summer long!
About the Producer
"This beautiful love affair with Champagne began four generations ago, in 1929. My great-grandfather Leopold Orban, a pioneer in the field industry in the village, decided to start producing this wine. He will be followed by my grandfather Gaetan Orban and my father Pol Orban. A lineage was born...Our farm is located in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne where champagne was born 15 km from Epernay, the capital of champagne. This village is atypical in several respects: an exhibition and an ideal sunshine, an exceptional clay-limestone terroir, a perfect microclimate conducive to the cultivation of Pinot Meunier which is the flagship grape of our farm. Today, always driven by the desire to satisfy you, you will find through the range of Francis Orban Champagnes, a natural elegance, a know-how inherited, authentic and true, specific to our family and our terroir."
