A NO-BRAINER deal on excellent organic rose from Minervois! This saignee (bleed-off, rather than pressed) rose is just plain delicious and wonderfully fresh. We love the orange zest, dried flowers, and white cherry aromas and flavors in this beauty. Sporting surprising acidity for the area, it has a great herbal tinge to the white cherry with tangerine and a salivating finish. This goes down too easy!
About the Producer
Chateau Saint Eulalie was purchased in 1996 by Laurent and Isabelle Coustal who undertook a big renovation and modernizing of the estate. The estate is comprised of 34 hectares on terraces 200 M above La Liviniere which is now an official Cru of the Languedoc. The stony is planted to Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Cinsault with an average age of 25 years. The domaine also includes some century old Carignan vines and 70 year old Grenache vines. Viticulture is organic and certified Sustainable.
