Lail Cabernet Sauvignon J. Daniel Cuvee 2018
Do you know how much you can spend on a 100-pointer from Napa these days? $200? $400? More. Way more. Robin Lail, with her rich history in the Napa Valley has made a TITANICALLY delicious, sexy, and dead-serious Cabernet with winemaker Philippe Melka and his right-hand-man Maayan Koschitzky, and it is priced within grasp of mere mortals. I will put it up with practically ANYTHING in this superb Napa Valley vintage. A MUST for serious collectors! A fantastically intense, concentrated, gorgeous and seductive 2018 of epic proportions!
I suspect most of you reading this are pretty well-informed from our many years of selling these incredible wines anyway, but just in case. Robin as a person is just a force of nature, and we are so proud to offer this today. Looking to fill out a six pack? Grab a few of Robin’s 95-point Blueprint SB, it’s fantastic!
SUPER-LIMITED! 100 points! FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED…!
PAIRING IDEAS: Why not have a fancy steak dinner!? After such a unprecedented year, you folks deserve it! We love House of Prime Rib, an SF institution!. Prime rib, a baked potato, and a glass of Lail Cab -- yum!!
MUSIC SUGGESTIONS: The best fit for a classic is, of course, a classic. We are thinking Van Morrison's “Moondance” is just the right kind of vibe for this sensual and seamless wine.
