Proprietary Blends  |  France

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!

“Farmer fizz” at its finest, as you all know by now! We just snagged a bit more at a very fine price (we’re in the mood to party!), so take us up on it…only 23 cases to sell!

Belonging to the Launois family for three generations, Champagne Paul Launois remains a traditional house, but with an eye to the future and modern sensibility. Jean Pierre Launois, now with his son Julien and his wife Sarah, carry on the family tradition as stewards of the family vineyard, located in the Grand Cru village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. In a great turning point of the family story, Julien and Sarah Launois have decided to become a grower producer instead of making their wine at the village cooperative. Their handmade cuvees are as stunning as they are rare. These are wines that leave a lasting impression, at least they did on me!

PAIRING IDEAS: On NYE? We’re dropping a few extra bucks for simple perfection – caviar, on the best potato chip you can find, atop a dollop of creme fraiche. Hedonistic pleasure with a glass of this!

MUSIC SUGGESTIONS: ANYTHING that gets your body moving! Beastie Boys, Green Day, Katy Perry, Sir Mixalot, or Fleetwood Mac, just go for it!

About the Producer

Belonging to the Launois family for three generations, Champagne Jean Pierre Launois is today a winery that retains traditional values while evolving with the times. Jean Pierre Launois, with his son Julien, carry on the family tradition as stewards of the family vineyard, located in the Grand Cru village of Le Mesnil sur Oger in the heart of the Cote des Blancs. In a great turning point of the family story, Julien and Sarah Launois have decided to become producers as well as growers. Their handmade cuvees are as delightful as they are rare. They believe that Champagne is a product of luxury and quality, but also a vector of contacts and openness to the world. Anxious to keep this spirit, they will welcome you to the property to share with you their love of incredible wine. This is one place you truly must visit.
