Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
A knockout vintage coming from the picturesque slopes of Volnay at a price we promise you will never see again. All you Burgundy lovers don't pass by this premier cru, it's an absolute delight!! THE PRICE THOUGH!! The Bouzereau family has been making lovely wines for 10 generations in the small villages of Meursault and Volnay. Champans is a PRIME premier cru site in Volnay, planted mid-slope in calcareous soils and is one of the sites that should Volnay ever have a Grand Cru vineyard, it would be on the short list. Perfect growing conditions in 2015 from this prime cut produce a wine that is both elegant and dynamic with vibrant red cherries and lovely baking spices interlaced with delicate tannins-all wrapped up in a nicely complex, powerful finish. Sorry but this deal is just stellar.

About the Producer

The Bouzereau family is based in Meursault where they have been growing grapes for over 10 generations. Jean Marie Bouzereau has a rich family heritage of the vine and wine. After studying oenolgy in Beaune, Jean-Marie interned at wineries in both the United States and in Australia before returning to the family estate in 1994. Jean-Maries style is a perfect marriage of restrained ripeness combined with traditional winemaking that result in exceptional quality.
