Too late, we are SOLD OUT!

In short, the winery sold us some wine at a fantastic price (normally $75+), but didn’t want to anger its loyal mailing list or damage its brand, hence the mystery designation. Our price is $27 below the lowest price in the country, so their concern is justified! We can tell you this is from a true Northwest legend, and here are a couple clues:

- Sourced from the legendary Shea Vineyard! Shea Vineyard is widely considered a grand cru level vineyard in Oregon and one of best vineyards in the United States. These vines, a lot of which, for this bottling, are from the older and more prized vines, planted in the 1980s, produce some of the most distinctive pinot noirs that are muscular, meaty, full of red fruit aromatics, bright acidity, and an even balance between power and finesse, which makes them especially ageworthy.

- This wine has lots of glowing reviews from major critics (at least 92 points from all major reviewers!), and while we are not allowed to quote entire reviews, here are some highlights: “sophisticated"..."impressive"..."effortless, as good pinot should be"..."sharply focused"..."ample yet energetic"..."sexy floral pastille"..."great pinot"..."very long”.

We were VERY impressed by this lush, layered, highly-complex, mouth-watering pinot. The aromas are intoxicating and ever-changing with air. Forest floor, pipe tobacco, flowers, cigar box and dusty cherry aromas abound. This is silky and super classy in the mouth speaking to the deft winemaking hand of the proprietor. There are beautiful pixelated tannins in the mouth which indicates a very long life ahead, with more salivating red cherry and dark berry flavors that are lifted by a wonderful spine of juicy acidity and complex spice and earth flavors. This will pair nicely with roasted pork loin with trumpet mushrooms, or simple roasted chicken. Best to keep the cuisine relatively simple as to not detract from the extreme complexity in this wine.

An absolute STEAL at our price today! We have a scant handful of cases... First come, first served!
