Reviews

91 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate -
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon features notes of warm black plums, boysenberries, black currant cordial and kirsch plus wafts of cedar, wild sage and chocolate box. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers bright, crunchy black fruits with a firm, grainy texture and lively backbone, finishing long with great purity.

Mario Bazan Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2018

Talk about bang for your buck, this is Napa Cab that delivers where it counts...in your glass! It's hard to go on about value in a wine that sells for $80, but, when it comes to Napa Valley Cabernet, this really is a relative bargain. On three or more we are offering this stellar cab at $64.95 with free shipping...now we are cookin' with gas! Grab a few of these at our stellar price! Now, to the wine, this is sensual, cassis-y, layered and nuanced cab that drinks like many $100+ examples from Napa. This is surprisingly rare and hard to find so we are stoked to be one of the only places on earth to find this. While it lasts!

About the Producer

The roots of Mario Bazán Cellars go back to 1973 when Mario immigrated to the Napa Valley from his native Oaxaca, Mexico. When Mario arrived in the Napa Valley, he was immediately charmed by its beauty and energized by the vigorous wine growing atmosphere he observed. He continued to hone his skills over the next four decades as he advanced step-by-step from a general laborer to grape grower. Today, Mario has his own estate vineyard and highly regarded vineyard management company farming several hundred acres throughout Napa and Sonoma Valleys.
