Too late, we are SOLD OUT!

Buy a case of this and drink it with abandon. $119.70 a 6-PACK delivered! An outrageous buy on crisp, clean, pure, delicious Sauvignon Blanc, from one of the great places on Earth to grow it. That is all! Did you know? The name Pouilly Fume (“Fume” meaning “smoked”) refers to both the grape variety and the terroir. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are covered with a gray, smoky bloom when they are ripe. This is why they are also known as “Blanc Fume” or “smoked white”. The name also comes from the wine’s flinty tang, said to be reminiscent of a flint-lock pistol striking, which originates from the flint-rich soil found around Pouilly-sur-Loire.

Typically sold in restaurants and throughout Europe, we’re thrilled to have a bit of this wine for you to drink (we got ours, too, don’t worry). Ideally, we could have bought 1000 cases of this. Really...for this price....c'mon! This wine has bracing freshness, flinty, chalky notes and a lovely, almost creamy citrus note (yuzu, anyone??) underlying the racy, lip-smacking acidity. Lemon, grapefruit, gooseberry....all super fresh and ready for anything you want to throw at it.

CASE ME! While it lasts!

About the Producer

The same family has been making wine here for several generations. Since 2000, Benoit has been running the estate with his wife, Emmanuelle. Today, the property comprises a dozen hectares (30 acres) on various types of soil (kimmeridgian marl, siliceous-clay and Villiers limestone). They sell just 90,000 bottles a year, essentially to the hotel-restaurant sector and to small independents throughout Europe. Their approach is to continually strive to improve the quality of the wines through the development of sustainable methods, using a strict minimum of products to treat the vines against the disease.
