• It’s 100% Cabernet from Stagecoach Vineyard in the fantastic 2016 vintage.
• Big-time winemaker with a track record of high-scoring, blockbuster wines.
• 100% new French oak.
• Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, 96 points
• Less than 650 cases made.
• Very much in the plush, dark, purple-y cassis and blue fruits, big, masculine style, with a huge, long, complex, layered finish. Awesome. Classic.
• We’d compare it VERY favorably to a lot of Thomas Rivers Brown’s wines, Bevan, Carter Cellars...Cabs along those lines (that cost quite a bit more, we might add). What a price!
