Reviews

90 Vinous -
The 2019 Rose Elke Home Ranch from Radio-Coteau's County Line range is bright, focused and light on its feet, with plenty of cranberry and floral character. The refreshing, crisp style makes this Rose a delicious aperitif-style wine to drink over the next few years.

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
Not gonna lie...this stuff just SLAYS IT. Not your average rosé, no, no. This is serious juice, made by the same folks that bring you the uber-cult brand Radio-Coteau! SO. GOOD.

Bone dry, whole-cluster pressed, from a Champagne clone of Pinot Noir and a single vineyard in Anderson Valley (Elke Ranch). Vinous gave it a 90, but honestly, we’d go one or two higher, easy. This is cool-climate, light yet complex rosé, or as Vinous would say: “...bright, focused and light on its feet, with plenty of cranberry and floral character. The refreshing, crisp style makes this Rosé a delicious aperitif-style wine to drink over the next few years.”

This is exactly what you want to be drinking now (well, I’m eating sushi as I write this, so, that’s working pretty good, too) --- limes, roses, cranberry, orange blossom! Racy and pure -- just crazy delish!

About the Producer

The first vintage of County Line was solely dedicated to producing a dry Rose from a whole-cluster pressed Champagne clone of Pinot Noir. A handful of varietals naturally followed. Using traditional winemaking techniques, and a shorter elevage in neutral French oak barrels or stainless steel, each wine is made to provide a cool-climate appellation snapshot of the Anderson Valley, Sonoma Coast, Russian River, or the North Coast. A companion label since 2003, the team at Radio-Coteau crafts these food-friendly comfort wines to drink gracefully in the present and be enjoyed throughout the seasons.
