Domaine Gerard Raphet Chambolle Musigny Les Bussieres 2016
Pinot Noir | France
Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
So delicate, so elegant, but so PACKED with flavor. Hailing from 40+ year old vines, this sings of pomegranate, sweet cranberry, and spice, with a delicately long, complex finish. Where is the duck breast??
About the Producer
The wines of Gerard Raphet are a Burgundy lover's Burgundy. No Raphet ever went to enology school; winemaking as family tradition has been passed from father to son, and now daughter, through four generations. There's no pontificating, no philosophy, just the rhythm of a day that starts before sunrise, the years of history absorbed in each gnarled, 100-year-old vine, and the handful of barrels stashed away in a dark cellar. Raphet's Burgundies are highly perfumed and layered, if you have never tasted these fine elixirs, it's time to see for yourself!
