A wonderfully elegant and ultra-pure nose blends notes of green apple, petrol, discreet yeast, citrus and acacia blossom. There lighter weight flavors possess an almost delicate mouth feel thanks to the soft yet super-fine effervescence that contrasts with the crisp and lemony finish. Like the Conversation, this is on the softer and rounder side of the spectrum but the complexity and overall sense of harmony are first-rate.

About the Producer
With prime old vine holdings in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Didier Vergnon and his son, the 4th and 5th generations are leading this incredible estate to continued greatness and are widley recognized as one of the elite properties in the Cote des Blancs. Didier's father was one of the first in the area to push ripeness beyond the norm picking weeks after most of the village allowing for the elimination of the addition of sugar which is fairly standard in Champagne.
