Marc Hebrart Cuvee de Reserve Brut 1er Cru NV - First Bottle

Reviews

92 Wine Spectator -
Pretty floral and spice aromas lead to ripe crushed cherry and peach fruit flavors on the palate of this mouthwatering, elegant Champagne. Well-knit and lacy in texture, with toast, citrus and chalk accents lingering on the finish.
92 Burghound -
A cool, pure and very yeasty nose combines notes of brioche, citrus, apple and a whiff of petrol. There is a wonderfully refreshing character to the utterly delicious and impressively complex flavors that are supported by a firm but not particularly refined effervescence while delivering excellent length on the clean and moderately dry finish. I quite like this as it's rare to find this level of depth for less than $100.

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
Well, hello there!! Hey, it's Day 1 of First Bottle, and so you KNOW we're drinking hella-Champagne today here in the Napa Valley World Headquarters! Our choice for the first wine ever offered? The fantastic, fresh-and-toasty-as-the-day-is-long Marc Hebrart is a good start, oh yes! Free shipping always on 6 or more bottles come in mighty handy, too, right?

The Reserve Premier Cru bottling is nicely priced and a massive over-deliverer (it's a DOUBLE 92-pointer, we might add) --- to quote Burghound: "...it's rare to find this level of depth under $100...wonderfully refreshing"! We couldn't agree more (we're on our 3rd glass, so...)! Spiced peaches, pure and fresh, with just the right level of toastiness and lip-smacking satisfaction. Pop a few bottles with us...it's our birthday!

About the Producer

Hebrart farms over 34 acres most notably in the grand cru villages of Ay, Chouilly and Oiry, but also some excellent premier cru holdings. Popular all over the world, the wines of Hebrart offer incredible consistency and generosity but also incredible value in the world of top-tier grower Champagne.
