Marc Hebrart Special Club Brut 1er Cru 2013 (Magnum 1.5L) - First Bottle

Reviews

92 Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate -
The 2013 Brut Premier Cru Special Club Millesime offers a fresh and intense bouquet of ripe and stewed white fruits with a hint of butter. Pure, fresh, fine, ripe and intense on the palate, this is a very fruity but also pure and tensioned blend of 55% Pinot Noir from A? and Mareuil-sur-A? and 45% Chardonnay from Oiry and Chouilly. It has a fresh and aromatic but somewhat reductive finish. It needs time. Disgorged in August 2017 with a dosage of 6.5 grams per liter.

Too late, we are SOLD OUT!
It's so rare to even see Special Club magnums, let alone from the rock-star, culty Marc Hebrart. Only a handful to go around.

About the Producer

Jean-Paul Hebrart took over his father Marc's business in the Vallee de la Marne in 1997. Marc had been producing Champagne since 1964 and has been a Special Club member since 1985. Hebrart farms over 34 acres most notably in the grand cru villages of Ay, Chouilly and Oiry, but also some excellent premier cru holdings. Popular all over the world, the wines of Hebrart offer incredible consistency and generosity but also incredible value in the world of top-tier grower Champagne.
