Hartford Court Chardonnay Four Hearts 2016 - First Bottle

Reviews

96 Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate -
Already in bottle, the 2016 Hartford Court Chardonnay Four Hearts Vineyard opens with lemon tart, pink grapefruit, pineapple and ripe apple notes with touches of nutmeg and croissant. Medium to full-bodied, rich and with a pleasantly oily texture, it delivers ripe tropical fruit flavors and a long, creamy finish. 1,600 cases were produced. -- Lisa Perrotti-Brown in Issue #234, Dec 2017

About the Producer

Hartford's wines are rare. Year after year, they rank among the most sought-after collectibles from California. Since the 1994 vintage, owners Don and Jenny Hartford have built the winery's reputation on limited-production, handmade, single-vineyard Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs and Old Vine Zinfandels from some of Northern California's greatest vineyards. In addition to fruit from their own estate, Hartford harvests fruit from a handful of prized vineyards throughout the Russian River Valley, Green Valley, Carneros, Sonoma Coast, Anderson Valley, and Marin County. All are high-reputation, low-yielding, sustainably farmed sites situated in cool climates.
