Bond Red Wine Vecina Napa Valley 2001 - First Bottle

Reviews

96 Wine Enthusiast -
*Cellar Selection* - Very fine wine. Denser, richer, more powerful than the other Bond ’01s. In the mouth, it has a molten quality, like liquid lead or mercury; strong flavors of plums, bitter chocolate, cassis, and good, rich oak. Pretty astringent now in tannins, it’s firm and hard, but complex and layered.

Vecina 2001 exudes power and elegance, with aromas of blackberry, graphite, and crushed stone. The palate is intense and structured, showcasing dark fruit, savory herbs, and a mineral edge. Its robust tannins and vibrant acidity promise continued evolution with further cellaring.
